The ticket
A non-criminal, non-moving violation. The base fine and court costs are set per county and typically land around $100 to $130. Some officers issue a fix-it ticket requiring removal and proof; some jurisdictions add a fee. It does not add points.
Medical exemptions
Florida issues medical exemptions for darker tint with a physician's statement. The exemption certificate must be in the car.
