What "highest quality" means in film
- Chemistry: aliphatic polyurethane, which does not yellow, over aromatic or PVC, which does.
- Thickness: 8 mil or more of urethane for impact absorption.
- Topcoat: self-healing, hydrophobic, stain resistant.
- Clarity: no orange peel, no haze, invisible on the paint.
- Warranty: written, from the manufacturer, 10 years or more.
How Ceramic Pro PPF scores
Aliphatic polyurethane: yes. Thickness: 8.5 mil, more than the 8 mil standard of the other flagship films. Topcoat: self-healing, hydrophobic, engineered to take a Ceramic Pro coating. Clarity: optically clear, no orange peel. Warranty: lifetime, from the manufacturer. Ceramic Pro Urban (7.5 mil, 10-year warranty) passes the same tests at a lower price.
Why the install decides
A flagship film installed with unwrapped edges in an open shop looks worse in a year than a value film installed properly. Quality you can see is edges, cleanliness under the film, and whether the trim came off.
What we install and why
Ceramic Pro PPF and Urban, cut to the car, edges wrapped, in a closed climate-controlled bay, with a $549 Ceramic Pro coating included on Full Front and Full Body. That combination is the highest quality result we know how to deliver.
