The first seven days
- No washing, no pressure washer, no touchless wash.
- Do not press on the small water pockets or the light haze under the film. That is slip solution evaporating through the film; it clears faster in the sun.
- Keep it out of automatic sprinklers if you can. Mineral spots on uncured film are harder to remove.
- Driving is fine the same day.
After that
Hand wash with pH-neutral soap and two buckets, or a touchless automatic. Never a brush wash. Pressure washer at 12 inches or more, never aimed along an edge. Dry with a plush towel or blower.
What not to use, ever
Compounds, polishes, cleaner waxes, anything abrasive. They scuff the topcoat. A spray sealant made for film is fine. Better: the Ceramic Pro coating we include with every Full Front and Full Body, which makes the film wash like glass.
If a corner lifts in the first weeks
Do not press it down and do not wash over it. Bring the car by; re-seating an edge takes minutes and is covered.
