Why Tesla paint specifically
Thin, soft, and often delivered with swirls. Many Teslas sleep outside at a charger, in the sun and the sprinklers. A coating blocks the UV, keeps the sprinkler minerals from etching, and turns the weekly wash into a rinse. On black or dark paint it also hides the fact that Tesla paint swirls if you look at it wrong.
What it does not solve
Chips on the front bumper and hood, and rock rash on the rockers behind the front tires. That is film. Full Front PPF is $1,999 on a Model 3 and $2,199 on a Model Y, includes a $549 Ceramic Pro coating, and Track Package adds the rockers.
