What moves the price
- Warranty term. Sport (up to a year) to Ultimate ION (lifetime). Longer terms mean more layers and more prep.
- Vehicle size. A Miata and a Suburban are not the same afternoon.
- Paint condition. New paint needs a light correction. Swirled paint needs a real one, and it is quoted as its own line.
- Add-ons. Glass, wheels and calipers, leather and plastics, each a separate Ceramic Pro product.
What is always included
Decontamination wash, iron and tar removal, clay, machine correction to the level the package calls for, panel wipe, application by hand in a climate-controlled bay, cure, and warranty registration with Ceramic Pro.
Why quotes vary so much between shops
A $300 "ceramic coating" is a spray sealant on an uncorrected car. A $2,500 coating from a specialist is two days of paint correction with a coating on top. They are not the same product with different margins; they are different products.
