It is priced between $700 and $2,000 and rolled into the loan. The "lifetime warranty" typically covers specific stains only, requires annual paid reapplication, and excludes almost everything that actually happens to paint in Florida.

- What product, by name? If they cannot say, that is the answer.
- Who applies it, and where? A service lane is not a controlled bay.
- Is the paint corrected first? A coating over dealer-lot swirls locks the swirls in.
- Does it stop rock chips? No sealant or coating does. Only film.

If you already bought it
Do not panic and do not pay to reapply it. Bring the car in. We inspect what is on the paint, correct if needed, and put real protection on top. Most dealer sealants come off with the decontamination wash.
